Difference between iPod Touch 1G and 2G

The iPod Touch is one of the most popular mp3 devices. It has a sleek chrome finish on the back and a full touchscreen on the front. One of the major features of the iPod is Wi-Fi, Multitouch, and an accelerometer, but there are differences between the 1G and the 2G.

If you take a look at the back of each iPod touch, you'll notice a bit of change.

The 1G is on the left and the 2G is on the right.

Physical features of the 2G that 1G doesn't have is:
  • Volume Rocker
  • Built in speaker
After the 3.0 update, the 2G has:
  • Bluetooth

I'm cutting the article short and I will put more info up tomorrow.

Google Chrome OS?

What's Google coming up with next? Google Chrome OS! Google Chrome OS isn't going to be the new Windows 7 but they are making an impact on netbooks by offering a lighweight, open-source operating system. One of the main attractions is going to be the speed. Getting you on the web in just a few seconds in the main priority.

Google Chrome OS is a different project other than Android that they run on most cell phones but you can think of it as Google Android on your computer. More information will be realeased soon but you can expect the OS to be released by Fall 2010.

LG Xenon (AT&T)

The LG Xenon is one of at&t high-end messaging phones. It has a slim design making it not so bulky. It comes in many colors such as black, blue, and red. It has many features such as a
  • full slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • 2.8" touchscreen w/ vibration feedback
  • 2MP camera w/flash and video, 2x zoom
  • music player
  • accelerometer
  • SMS
  • MMS
  • 3G
  • Video Share
  • Bluetooth
  • 100MB internal memory
  • Expandable up to 16GB with microSD!

What makes it different apart from other phones? I own a LG Xenon and from experience, it is one of my favorite phones i've had. It takes the greatest picture and the flash helps. The OS has many features such as picture editing, on screen texting(not qwerty), 3 main home screens (left is for contacts, middle is standard, and right is shortcuts), Lg's "Annunciator" (touch top of screen for shortcut menu) and a widget bar the holds 6 widgets for quick access to music player, photo viewer, calender, etc...

I have had no problems with it such as no glitching. I dropped it a couple times on concrete and there still remains no scratches. The battery life is very decent. I charge it every 3 days and I talk and text alot. The display is very eye-popping! The phone is very customizable. I give the Xenon a 4.6 out of 5 stars!

A couple cons about the phone is that it lacks wifi and the ability to set up your own e-mail apart from the existing ones it gave you such as aol, windows live, etc..

In a nutshell, the Lg Xenon is a stylish quality phone that would be perfect the ideal teenager or person who likes to text.

Pricing is moderate. You can grab the Xenon for $99.99 after mail-in rebate (before rebate $149.99)
